Eight months of PAAS-4λ deployment successfully completed
Eight months of unattended particle light absorption measurements at the Pallas Sammaltunturi station successfully completed.
So far the PAAS-4λ instrument has demonstrated excellent performance in terms of stability and reliability. This is an important step to prove the final technology readiness level in the target operational environment (TRL9).

PAAS-4λ deployment in the sub-Arctic
schnaiTEC is collecting pollution data at the Finnish Pallas Sammaltunturi station located 170 km north of the Arctic circle. The one year deployment serves to demonstrate the PAAS-4λ detection capabilities for long-range pollution transport into the pristine Arctic environment. Measurements are performed in collaboration with the Finnish Meteorological Institute.
